A few months ago I was parked in the garage of a local mall.  I was perfectly positioned in my parking space.  When I got back to my car, there was a larger car parked within just a few inches from my driver's side.  Seriously... just a few inches!  Fortunately, I'm agile enough to climb over the passenger seat and console.  Wish I'd left a note!

@ItsME   This just happened to us, too.  It was an empty parking lot.  Nevertheless, when we returned to our car, someone had parked so closely to our passenger side, I could just barely open the car door.  In the entire lot, it was just us and this jerk.  Yes, for what little good it did, I left a note.

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.

I saw those online plus many more. LOL!!! I used to have one I left on windshields. I cannot remember what it said. Something like thanks for parking so close I needed a can opener to get out of my car.

I don't have to worry about that now. Any time I go some place I park far away from other cars since people are so inconsiderate with dinging your car. I don't want them all over my car. I paid too much money for it. Besides I can use the exercise.

I do that, but it's like I'm a magnet!  Not a car around for 5 or 10 spaces on either side and when you come out, you're surrounded.

When I park in a parking lot, I pull through the space so I don't have to back out and don't you think it will be two monster pick-up trucks on either side so I still can't see to pull out without having my heart in my throat.

@missy1  I try to park as far away as I can.  I have a small compact.  And invariably, there is either a truck, van, or SUV parked next to me!  It makes it so hard to back out of the parking space too.  I think these drivers do it on purpose.

These are great.

When there are plenty of spaces, I park on the line.

Yes, I do that.

I play dumb, I did that??

But you should see my car

I'm an awful driver, I'm always bumping something.

Trust me, I am doing YOU a favor when I straddle the line!

@ItsMEA similar thing happened to me. I got a new (to me) little red car and I made a habit of parking on the other end of the grocery store parking lot where NOBODY parked. I came out of the store and there was a  junker parked inches from my driver's door. They were sending a message I believe: "Ha-ha ~ No one's safe no matter how far away you park". They didn't scratch my car thankfully. It was just a hee hee moment for them. I didn't laugh. Smiley Mad

I think that is hilarious....not nice, but, very funny ☺️
