Superstition regarding the Friday 13th date.

I have a personal reason for associating the date with tragedy but I realize that is irrational.

Thanks for the new word. I always learn something on Viewpoints. I'm familiar with TRISKAIDEKAPHOBIA, the more general fear of 13, which I've always associated with Friday the 13th. Can include buildings without a 13th floor and such.

Isnt' that weird? Some people really do fear the number 13 but consider 7 a lucky number.

Interesting how these things developed.
