Thankfully,  they don't seem to be using them anymore.   Everything I've gotten needing padding has "pillows"  of air-filled plastic.   I can't remember the last time I got peanuts.

Usually, but I got them today from jet.com.Those things are messy and bad for the environment. Recycled them.

When they used to use those, I would save up a big bag and take them to our local UPS store.  But the most fun of all was letting my kitty jump in  a box full of them. He loved diving in and then two little ears would poke up amidst a sea of white foam peanuts. So cute. That was before I got my cell phone, or I would surely have had a picture of it. Adorable.

As long as they don't eat them. The styrofoam peanuts can cause intestinal blockage as they are not digestible. The ones that dissolve in water are ok.

My little Bogey still loves to play with peanuts.   I'll throw a few on the floor and he'll whack them around with his paw....  and sometimes takes one to bed with him for his nap!  Heart
