I was shocked with the winner and so were the other 2 contenders.
The right person went home. I sewed better on a dress I made in 6th grade home ec.
What a bunch of whiners.

I didn't understand how that hideous dress deserved to win. It wasn't just ugly, but very poorly made. I think Swapnil or Candace should have won. I didn't understand how that outfit won last week either. I did agree with who they sent home. I have never made anything in my life and I could have done better. That was terrible.

I agree, that was a hidious black and blue dress ! I could not believe it. I thought he would have been in the bottom 2

Compared to other years, this has been perhaps the most amateurish season. None of the contestants really impress me all that much. I feel like its less a professional competition show looking for someone to start their own clothing line as much as its reality show peek into a 3rd year dressmaking class at fashion school.

I am very dissapointed in the talent level this season.
That dress tonight was something a child could make.
I think they chose the wrong winner. the wings were lopsided and looked nuts being hung by the string in the back.

I don't remember her name, but I liked the one made by the girl who really likes to work with leather. She has the very dark Roman/Greek haircut with the bangs. Sharpe face. She does noce work and finishes it off so well each week.

@surfk, @hennypenny - I totally agree!! I thought this year's designers were to be "above" all other seasons - I'm not seeing that at all. There are a few that are really good, everyone else is just a fail. How did they even get on the show? That one sequined dress with the number on it was so short you could practically see her "belongings" - They probably gave Blake the win because he actually finished a dress - personally, I don't think he should have won, the dress was a hot mess. The other two designers are really way above everyone else - their garments look professional and well made.

The judges are always talking about 'taste levels' but the judges taste levels are questionable. I realize fashion is subjective and people such as Nina think we don't understand what is 'editorial' but we just might have more fashion sense than her and her fellow judges after watching them last night. Where's Kors when we need him? That winning dress looked like something was tied to her butt and it was not tasteful or editorial or even close to well made. I bet when it goes into the magazine it is remade. It was a mess.

I could have reached through the TV screen and kissed Zac Posen when he said the sewing was bad on Blake's dress . . . THANK YOU . . . and by the way, you guys do realize that is one ugly dress right? . . . really bad episode.

Wasn't that strange that Zac Posen pointed out the bad sewing yet Nina piped up she loved that he took a chance? Guess we know who rules the judges' table. I thought for sure the leather outfit would win.
I am so sick of those 2 girls in the bottom. Thank goodness one is gone. Any other season 2 or 3 of the safe outfits would have been in the bottom.
