One more thing doesn't matter even let's say Harry's wish is to be on the throne. He doesn't have any more chance of being King then my husband.
Queen has to die, Father has to die, his brother has to die, George, the daughter and the other son of William's would have to die.
None ever fly together on the same plane, so, it would take something
really fantastic for them to perish altogether and Harry take over.

@Lucky Charm wrote:If it's anywhere's near the truth, in the 3rd season of The Crown, Elizabeth, as a young girld, didn't want to be queen and Margaret went in and said "I do!" to some stuffy man and he said 'No!' and turned her away.
Do you think that really happened?
Or did I fall asleep and dreamed it while watching Season 3 because it's not that good!
Kids will say anything she could had said that. I've read where Elizabeth read in a book that she was the next 1 to rule. They had never told her . She had to read it. Used to be a time when everybody smoked that's what did in most of the men. Even Queen Mary, it was said smoked a cigar , alone, at night by herself with just
her ladies.

In my thinking, Harry is either a spoiled brat or dumb. I'm sorry but I see no way on this earth he could fail to know about uncle David. So when he wore that military outfit, THAT was very stupid and offensive.
He seems to want to make a point that he can do what he wants--arrogance and hubris. That being said, he is a likeable chap, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I hope he and Meghan are happy together, and have the good sense not to fight for the limelight but live happily ever after enjoying their blessings.
And Wallis Simpson showing up to snare David and get him away from the crown must have been one of the biggest blessings in history. She should go down as one of the great ladies (as famous as Cleopatra) because she might have saved Great Britain. David was a real threat and, as they say in Doc Martin, a tosser.

Queen's Uncle. Her Father George VI's brother.
Distant relation to Harry.
The relationship between the Queen Mum, Queen Mary and Wallis is very interesting. Movies and books galore on that whole awful time
in history. They had no love for Wallis LOL

Even if Prince Harry has the thickest skull, he had no good excuse for donning that uniform for fun and games. And yes, he undoubtedly knew his great-uncle was a Nazi sympathizer.
How far the world has come. Remembering all the sacrifices made by The Greatest Generation and their peers/comrades around the world to rid the world of egomanical tyrants, I find it difficult to believe so many are now heedlessly following misguided leaders cut from a tyrannical cloth. How soon we forget our lessons.

One thing is for sure this family as problems like the rest of us do, just sometimes on a much greater scale. I always thought the second born was just had more freedom to "express" themselves since not the heir but the spare. But King Edward was just absolute weak beyond weak. The Princess Royal, Mary certainly stood beside him. She even refused to attend Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's wedding since her brother Edward was not invited. I am not sure I could have done the same but still she stood by him till the end. The Prince is said to have a troubling relationship with his Mother Queen Mary and could not understand when his youngest brother John died at the age of 13 why she was so upset. Weak and insensitive.
