I don't feel well, and I haven't in weeks. it's not just overall crappiness, it's my family bothering me too.

I've had a medium intensity headache for weeks and I'm going to finally have to 'fess up to my doctor. I'm reluctant to because she'll send me to every neurologist in the Puget Sound area and even then I mght not get an diagnosis.

Every little thing gets under my skin. My sleep function has mal-fuctioned too. If I get a good night's sleep once or twice a week, it's a miracle.

Except for the headache, I know what's causing this and there just doesn't seem to be anything that can be done about it. I start a new round of tests today and wish me luck...because if I don't get some answers I'm going to rip my cranium off my neck.

That sounds terrible! I hope you can find some answers.

In the meantime, have you tried Excedrine Migraine?

I tell you this stuff has worked miracles for my less severe and my husbands chronic long term migraine headaches. It has worked for him when nothing else has.

@GoneButNotForgotten

You know it can't hurt.

You could be getting migraines but it works for other types of headaches as well, just make sure you get " Excedrine Migraine" it has a combination of acetaminophen, aspirin and caffeine that works miracles for us (hopefully you can take aspirin).

Sometimes it helps to just talk things out whether it is a professional counselor or a pastor or a good friend. I know there are specific drugs that can stop migraines early to decrease the suffering. I hope you are soon feeling better.

WOW!  I feel for you, and my first reaction was--you need a vacation!

Perhaps you have a stress or tension headache. Maybe you are overwhelmed with your daily routine.

Yes, see the doctor and take advice, but because life experiences can sometimes affect our health, you also need to examine what is happening and what you are doing day-by-day.

I would consider regular trips to a spa with a nice massage, and maybe even some kind of lifestyle changes--take up yoga, go to the library and read, take long walks in the park, get a pet,  etc., etc.  You should also review your eating habits and food choices.

Best wishes!

Am just wondering, is your blood pressure normal?  I get those headaches when my blood pressure goes up.

@GoneButNotForgotten   Have you had more rain than normal?  I know your area can be soggy but weather patterns sure have changed.

Mold can be a big culprit with headaches.

That's something my doctor has been following and I need to look into that because sometimes my bp has been going up. That's for the. suggestion.

Hi rocky. Actually, we've had an unusually warm, dry summer. But I'll keep an eye on that, too.
