{#emotions_dlg.biggrin} Lauren Ashburn from Fox admitted the other day that when she wants the news she watches CNN.

That makes sense. Look at all the Fox haters that post on this forum...they claim to detest the station, yet they know every single word that is said and who said it, LOL. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

LOL. This is too funny. The worst of Fox reporting gets replayed on other networks for the entertainment or groaning, depending on the topic.

So much material every single day -- lol.

I always liked Shep Smith but I don't think he anchors a show anymore...at least I haven't seen him while channel flipping.

What do you expect ?

Rupert Murdoch owns the WSJ.

Whoops. {#emotions_dlg.lol}

So what? George Soros owns the other half of the media, yet you don't see that as a problem, only Murdoch? {#emotions_dlg.sneaky}

Topaz, sometimes I feel a little sorry for you because you say things that don't hold up to the least amount of scrutiny. Here's some help with your Soros low information:

Media

Does Soros own or operate any U.S. media outlets?

No.

What is his relationship with the media?

George Soros is an advocate for media independence and diversity, believing those traits to be important aspects of open societies. With his support, the Open Society Foundations have worked to protect freedom of the press, expand public access to information, and promote high-quality, independent journalism.

The Open Society Foundations play a crucial role in supporting investigative journalism, as well as providing emergency legal aid and making safety training available to journalists working in dangerous or oppressive environments.

Most of the Foundations’ media-related grant making goes to organizations outside of the United States.

Re: Overkill coverage of plane

I agree its on over and over especially on CNN. Don't get me wrong it should be in the news, but there should also be many other stories in the news that are not being covered since this plane is missing. To add, I think its about time people face that this plane crashed in the ocean. There is no hijacking because there have been no demands. There is no terrorism or the terrorists would have said so and used the plane by now. Its time for authorities to be honest so these poor families can try to accept the fact that their loved ones are gone.
