Re: Outside, it looks like a snow globe

I'm jealous.  I love snow.  Somehow, it makes the world seem cleaner.  My husband had to buy a new snow blower 3 winters ago.  Since then, it hasn't snowed enough to use it.  It's the joke of our neighborhood.  The next door neighbor asked my husband if he had the snow blower ready to go so it wouldn't snow!

I love new fallen snow.I feel alive and the world looks fresh and clean.I like not being able to go anywhere so you can just curl up by the fire and read without guilt.

Re: Outside, it looks like a snow globe

I live in No. Wisconsin. We've had some light snow the last few days...just enough to cover the ground. We did have one 5" snow that melted in a couple days. I saw on a weather report yesterday that so far our winter has been warmer and drier that usual...despite the prediction that it would be colder and wetter. I know many of you do not consider December 7 to be winter, but it is where I live.

Re: Outside, it looks like a snow globe

@qualitygal   I hear ya.  I live just south of Lake Erie, so snow here mostly depends on how the wind blows!  Today, they are saying if you live near the lake, east of Clevland (me), you can expect 2-5" by tonight.  Cleveland and west and south aren't supposed to get anything......just lucky me.  However, right now the sun is out.  Here in the snowbelt though, sometimes it snows while the sun is still shining......really!

Anyway, last night I finally loaded up the Mustang's trunk with my 160 lbs of dumbbells and kitty litter (rear wheel drive, you know).  I also have a full tank of gas back there, and I drug out the snow shovel, so I'm as ready as I can be!

Re: Outside, it looks like a snow globe

I'm jealous here in South Texas....at least we got some cool weather 40's and lows in the 30's and they say 20's tonight, and the Hill Country could get a snow dusting.....but nothing here....SIGH!!!  Supposed to warm up to the 60's by the weekend....well at least its not in the 70's/80s.............

@Spurt  You wouldn't be so jealous of snow if you were ever in the middle of a 20 car pile up on the freeway.  Some of us can't just sit in the house and look at it.  I'll take 85 and sunny any day.
