I've looked and looked - final decision - because cat's tail is up in the air. ...coming down.

Going UP think tail would not be as obvious (waiving in space)

My feeling, due to the perspective issue that I have learned in Art classes, is that the cat can be going either upstairs or downstairs.  The key is where the viewer is-- either upstairs from the cat or downstairs from the cat.  The larger, wider steps are closest to the viewer, and the viewer could be either above the cat, or below the cat.

My first instinct was up.  When I looked close, I could imagine down.

 I don't have an answer.  This was supposed to be a personality test of some kind but I don't believe it that sort of thing.

I just liked the picture...thought it was interesting.

I can post the info that came with the choices if you want but, I Don't trust what is said to be true.
