Re: Only 2 In. Of Snow But It's That....

Southern WV is sunny and 44 degrees, wet from the heavy showers yesterday.  Temps are to keep dropping and bring flurries, but no accumulation.

No complaints whatsoever from this winter so far.

Re: Only 2 In. Of Snow But It's That....

I know everyone is cautious going out when it is icy, it is nothing to fool around with.

3 weeks ago when there was still snow and icy spots my sister's 16 r. old granddaughter fell walking to the school bus. She hit her head. A trip to the ER followed. No brain bleed per 2 different CT scan, but she has a severe concussion and is still not in school.

She is not allowed on the computer to do remote classes, l guess because it makes the brain work . I  she has to rest, period.  No TV, no reading, anything that you have to concentrate on.

I hate ice. My main worry at my age was breaking a hip.  Now, nope, it is my head.

I'm in MA, still snowing here. Soft fluffy snow but it's been falling all day. The predicated 12 inches but I think we'll get more.
