@Sooner wrote:I don't think QVC's product mix appeals to much of anyone now. If you are young you probably aren't interested in what they have (their tech items are discontinued models and woefully overpriced); their clothes aren't something you'd wear; you aren't interested in home decor; you don't need kitchen stuff because you don't cook; you don't do yardwork, etc.
If you are old you probably aren't buying much of this stuff either. You don't want it, already have it, and if you have it you are trying to get rid of it.
And if you don't have it and need it, you get it from Amazon or direct from the manufacturer.
I agree. And I don't need to watch a show about designer nut mixes. If I want that, I can get it from Amazon or nuts dot com or Publix or Target even. I already understand what it is and what I would be getting. No one needs to shout "yum yum" at me from the TV to convince me one way or another.
Now a high profit unique but obscure kitchen gadget? Show it off and try to convince me I suddenly need to make watermelon boats and mince garlic faster. That's what QVC is for.

Yep. I have a few things--mostly household items--that I bought from QVC years ago that I'm still using practically every day. I wish I could buy them again, because some are wearing out. (They've since been discontinued by the manufacturers.) But they were unique items that I've never seen before or since anywhere else. And I wouldn't have bought them in a store or online without seeing and hearing the presentations.

HSN used to do a wrap up hour presenting 10 top products in that hour. QVC could do a quick hit hour at certain times during the day/evening. Fast paced, solid information and no silliness. Maybe clear out stock that has never seen the light of day. Could even have a theme. Just a thought

Maybe I'm cranky because it's so freaking hot, but I'm finding it harder to really care about QVC's survival. I've watched from the beginning and it was new and fun to watch. QVC has become more of a habit than something I look forward to. I don't always check out the website and I just don't care.

@Sooner , handwriting is on the wall? I don't know what you mean. Can you say it here, please? Thank you.

@newjersey The handwriting is on the wall means if you really look you'll know what is happening. Like here the clues say to me paring down inventory, messed up shipping and refunding, cutting back. . . means maybe bankrupt? Going out of business? Scaling back or quitting? Going only online?

I don't have Q2, 3, or Beauty channels.
I did have Q2 for a short while, way back, but it was removed in my area.
I do believe that the Q is trying it's best to stay afloat and profitable.
I, for one, is wishing QVC the best.
And I enjoy Community Chat and threads, and hoping that they will continue.

They better or I think they will be in deeper trouble.....

The last thing I ordered from Q was in May. I think that was the last time I ordered from HSN and I couldn't tell you when the last time is that I ordered from ShopHQ.
I barely watch Q or HSN anymore. I have come to realize I cannot tolerate ShopHQ. Everytime I'm flipping around all they are showing are items to capitalize on the pandemic.
I was out of town for about 5 days camping last week and one day I came in to get a break from the heat. We had the tv on and I was flipping around and came across QVC. MBR was hosting and it dawned on me how little I've watched because it has been months since I saw her on air. She could have left and I never would have known.
I realized my watching really dwindled when the vendors quit coming into the studios because I cannot stand the Skyping. They are all talking over each other, than apologizing and it drove me nuts.
