I used to be an avid watcher of the Olympics but not-so-much this year.  First of all, the threat of the virus concerns me and I think that, despite all efforts to protect our athletes, they are in danger.  And then, there is this whole doping thing.   The fact there it is so prevalent, I don't trust that any winner has honestly won without the use of drugs.  It has just taken the magic out of it.  I'll watch, but not with the same enthusiasm as previously. 

As far as the conventions - well, that's a whole different story that I won't get into.
