Oh Darn, First Return In A Long Time

I just received an item yesterday that was damaged.  I have only returned one or two items in all the years of ordering from QVC so I don't think I'll be getting the letter.

 

The thing is that it doesn't look damaged from shipping but that it had been damaged from previous use; there was even a smudge on part if it.  Moreover, even the way it was packaged was suspect; no packing materials just a big old plastic bag thrown over it and the shipping box itself had been reused. BTW, this item was not listed "as is" just shown as a regular item for sale.

 

I plan on respectfully requesting that I not be charged for shipping it back and will ask for the item to be replaced making sure to ask that it be replaced with a brand new, never used item.  I suspect this problem does not originate with QVC but with the vendor.

 

Have to say I usually don't have any problems dealing with QVC customer service and feel they always handle any issues or questions I have had in a professional manner.

I knew you would be treated fairly.I have never had any problems from customer service.I once had a bracelet break and the beads travelled all over the restaurant...under people's tables etc.I called cs and they told me to return but of course I didn't chase the pieces in the restaurant so they still refunded my purchase.I call that above and beyond customer service.
