I get the same message from Amazon almost everytime I place an order.  I think it almost becoming standard for them.

Almost all my Amazon deliveries come in a dedicated truck. Maybe because we have a super duper humongous warehouse in my city.

I have that on every email about a delivery from them. Never have I received a call. Probably because Amazon is in our neighborhood daily. Sometimes two or three time a day. Our neighborhood does a lot of shopping at Amazon apparently.

Amazon trucks have been delivering around here for a few years. 
I've gotten that email too.

I love the fact that once Amazon delivers, I get a picture of the package sitting on my front porch.  That way I know it really was delivered to the correct address.

A few weeks ago FedEx delivered a package to someone else but claimed it was left on my front porch.  Luckily the person who received it by mistake brought it to me.

I have.  My apartment building restricts deliveries to certain time frames.  My sense is they call if they need access.  They ususally just deliver the next day within my building's time frame.  Maybe you live in a private or restricted access community?

I live in a new development that isn't on many gps maps.  I get that message often, and have received many phone calls from drivers who can't find my house.  

Whenever I see a call coming in from Seattle, I know it's from an Amazon driver and I'll have to find out where that person is, and guide him/her to my house.

Those trucks are in my neighborhood every day.  Didn't realize that wasn't the case everywhere.

During the holidays I have seen Amazon pkgs being delivered in all sorts of vans and trucks. Some are marked, some are not.
