I have noticed a trend with some online orders lately (not QVC though) of not getting an invoice in the package.  Banana Republic and Old Navy both do this now. I asked at the store, what if I need to return it in store and she just looked at me like she did not have an answer.  I find it stressful because I like to return BR in store since there is one 5 minutes from me but with no receipt I don't know if I can and will have to do it by mail.  Sorry if I'm getting off topic.  As for the  packaging I actually hate it when they use an outer box for so many things that don't need it. I ordered hand cream and it came in a plain sturdy carboard box inside another slightly larger carboard box and I was like, why.  So silly.

Take the label off and unfold it, the pack slip is part of the label.  You can also go on line and print off the packing label.  Yes, its a relatively new thing.  Life is full of changes.  The good part is that you got it very quickly and the box was not opened and the item was not damaged.  So, nothing to complain about.

Most of my shopping is done online, in the past month I've ordered a vacuum cleaner and air purifier. Both came with invoices but if I should lose them, then I can always reprint my receipt and shipping information.

a few years ago my Bose system came with no outer packaging.  Back then the Q had you sign for items over$500.  No signature just left on my doorstep.  Luckily I came home right after the delivery, and it wasn’t stolen.  I had someone available at home since I thought the signature was required.  Never even knocked.   Called the Q and they said if the driver felt it was safe, they didn’t need a signature.  And today, package theft is a big business.  Over all my years of QVC shipments I only had one item not delivered and they replaced it.  I think it was one item under $30 item.
