Norton Pop Up - android device operating system vulnerability

It just popped up on my Lap top....it looks like a legitimate Norton pop up and includes a "get protected" button. I have a Samsung laptop....I don't think it has an Andoid OS.

I tried to google and didn't get too much information.

I do have Norton on my computer......did anyone else who uses Norton get this pop up?

Anyone know anything about it?

TIA

Don't click on it! If you are on your laptop, then you don't have android. That is for mobile devices. You probably have malware and you should scan your computer. Also delete your cookies.

Hi, Lotus. I have Norton through my cable/internet bundle and I get those ads at least once a month myself. If you read the firewall, malware "scan, etc. it says not detected.

I just close the window.

HTH !
