No small turkey or turkey breasts here, no pies, no cream puffs or eclairs.

We will not be having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year.  I have all the fixings for baked ziti, sauce, meatballs and sausage so that's what it will be.

I am Italian, my family always has homemade pasta along with the turkey and trimmings.  It is usually spaghetti and meatballs.

Since the extended family will not be here, I think I am going to forget about the pasta this year.

Your TG dinner sounds wonderful.  Enjoy.

I ordered our favorite Thanksgiving pie, Bourbon Pecan, on Sat. which was the last day to get orders in at Maui Pie.

I just lucked out on that because I thought today, Mon., was going to be the last day.  If I had procrastinated like is my typical setting, we would have been out of luck!  They will be closed Thursday, of course, so we will go pick it up on Wednesday.

I'll be celebrating Thanksgiving with my elder son (he's an excellent cook). We're going to have some kind of pasta, along with peanut butter pie (purchased from a local restaurant).

I went to both Sam's and my local grocer this morning (11/23). Sam's had a lot of their large pumpkin and pecan pies available. My local grocer had no shortage of frozen pies or fresh pies from their bakery department. I was even shocked to find fully stocked shelves of TP!

DH had ordered a couple of pumpkin rolls from a school fund raiser, so that's what we'll have, although I should have planned to make a pecan pie since that's my favorite....I guess it's not too late!
