@SharkE - Thanks for the reminder.  I had to send a card to someone in England to get there by March 1st.  So I was able to get out today and mail it.

The mail in the U.K. right now is in an abysmal state, so still no guarantee it will get there, but at least I've sent it on its way!

(A friend in England sent me a card two weeks ago.  Still no sign of it!)

Reason I keep track of holidays is that means my QVC orders will be delayed another day. LOL

@CelticCrafter   I LOVE your response to strait girl!  I do care because it means garbage pickup will be delayed by one day!

Really? Just for President's Day? Ours picks up every day except Christmas and New Years Day.

Depends on the state.  In our state President's Day is Fed holiday with Recycling and Trash dept. closed.  All days for that week are delayed by one day.  Usually Monday is recycling day pick up. Instead it will be picked up Tuesday. Strangely enough Martin Luther King's birthday is a Fed holiday, but recycling and trash is still picked up as usual.

I have work tomorrow.  I work at a pubic university and technically I'm a state worker.  But we have to be at school when the students are.  That holiday (along with Veteran's Day, etc) is set aside during Christmas week when we are off the entire week.  (So we get paid)  So tomorrow is just another Monday.

Amazon is working. I'm getting a package tomorrow.  I think also UPS and Fedex.
