I agree Noel and it's getting better and better each day.

Yes, it is getting better. But I do wish they could make it visually easier to see who posted what. With multiple quotes it's a bit hard on the eyes.

At least with the new forum, the quoted posts after awhile are faded so it's easier to follow.

True. When I first saw the faded quotes I thought my computer monitor was dying.

I agree that there are many interesting threads for those who choose to look for them instead of doing their constant complaining about how boring the boards are. For instance, the thread about Cyberbulling/Trolls is now 30 pages long with 590 replies. Who would have thought that a subject like that could continue so long? And there is the thread about the flag, which so far has been civilized enough to stay up. And many more.
Yet the same people keep complaining about the same thing, boring, sanitized, too much moderation, etc. etc. etc. You can bet if I was that unhappy, I would no longer be here. What's the point, other than they just enjoy complaining about the same things over and over and over again?
I don't always agree with some threads or posts being taken down, but overall, I think the moderators are doing the best they can. And if some of those complaining would just finally learn the lesson that "it's not what you say but how you say it", they would find more threads staying up for a lot longer, and more interesting ones to post on. I can't remember who started the thread, but I've probably said previously that I laughed more in one day than I had in weeks, over a silly thread about "I'm in the mood to say something hateful" or something to that effect. I can't remember who started it, but I was so glad she did! It turned into a whole long thread about vegetables and bugs, and posters were just really getting into the whole thing. Some may not have found it funny, but I thought it was hilarious and I enjoyed it thoroughly!
You can find something good in the strangest things if you only keep your eyes and your mind open....

It was Colliemom who started the thread. She was upset about the new board and I posted that I hated Lima beans - then it took off from there.
