Was given the option to talk to someone in CS on the automated system. When I selected the prompt was given the message that there will be no CS until the Covid-19 issue has been completely resolved.
While this may have been a slight inconvenience for me, I am glad they are considering the well-being of their employees.

Thanks for the heads up.
If you read the forums, it is claimed that only QVC has C/S, shipping, delivery, processing problems.
Clearly other places have had to take a step back in these departments for healthy and safety reasons.
There is no C/S at EZ pass either. Our company has an error on our account. Have tried for 3 weeks off and on....no one picks up ever.

I have never found a customer service number/email at Paypal. It's all automated. There's no real person to speak to. Never has been as I recall. Even the chat is automated. No help whatsoever. I stopped using them a few months ago-don't need the aggravation.

There is usually an option given for a call-back. My business uses them and whenever I have a problem and need to call they give the option of holding on or a call-back.

I'm with you. If there is a responsive CS number (even before the pandemic), I've never found it.
I have an account there, but the whole website frustrates me every time I use it. Mostly, I use it to donate to some of the rescues I support.
I may do what you did and just close my account.

I really do have to laugh at the "shock and surprise" that (gasp!) other companies have "problems" too!
People love to act as if the " big, bad, evil" QVC is the only company that has "non existent" help.
I have said that other companies were the same way, but nobody believed me.

Same for amazon, no phone CS, but you can do an online chat.

@Judaline Every time I have to call Paypal before the virus, I have always spoken to a person.
