I'll bet the mini burgers and skinny fries were the young couples idea. It would take a army of people to cater this meal

Re: Nicky Hilton"s wedding menu

English Garden cocktail sounds delish. We're having a party next month and I think I might make the featured cocktail (are we allowed to post cocktail recipes?):

Need a cocktail for relaxing in the garden on a warm day or an alternative to a gin and tonic? Then give the English Garden a whirl, which balances the crisp clean flavor of cucumber, the slight sweetness of St. Germain and the delicate aromatics of rose.

English Garden

2 slice English cucumber
¼ oz Lime juice
¼ oz Rich simple syrup (2:1 ratio)
8 drops Rose water
¼ oz Elderflower liqueur, St. Germain
2 oz homemade cucumber gin, or Hendrick’s

Muddle cucumber, lime, simple syrup and rose water in mixing glass. Add gin and St. Germain. Shake with ice. Strain into chimney glass over fresh ice. Top with tonic. Garnish with very thin slices of cucumber.

Re: Nicky Hilton"s wedding menu

I always wonder who eats all the food at these lavish affairs.  Most of those pictured in attendance look like they barely eat enough to keep a bird alive.  Maybe the leftovers are donated to a food pantry?

Buffalo mozzarella? Doesn't that mean somebody has to milk a buffalo, which is a wild animal?

I wonder if they had a cake and what it looked like?

Yes, it is made from domesticated Italian water buffalo. Delicious!

I think this is fun menu and some of the drinks sound really good about now!!
