I have noticed many resurrected old threads

So even with all the new formatting, they can't stop that?

I've noticed as well.   Yet things that are 'current events' and news are prevented here.  Like the drone strike that took out the ISIS leader.  I think there are lots of savy gals here who enjoy discusssing the current news events.  All the inane threads are just that.  Some recouped threads are long since old news and just plain dead.

I keep CNN on mute so I can check out the news.  I don't expect to find it here anymore.  Surprised to find even the post about that disgusting doctor on here today.  "The worst medical malpractice event in history" is what CNN is calling it.

It's a form of rebellion/trolling to deliberately dig up old threads just for the purpose of digging them up. There certainly are people who deliberately try to annoy both QVC and forum members. There will always be people who spend their time doing that.

Trollers are finding out that what cannot be posted is getting them routinely deleted, or exposed as bullies and trollers. They're having to dig deep to come up with new ways to disrupt the forums they're determined to bring down.

Yes, and I am getting a bit confused as to whats new and what isn't because I don't see dates of original posts. (Am I missing something?).

The date is right under the title of the post you are reading.

Re: I have noticed many resurrected old threads

I've only noticed and posted on one old resurrected thread...about wind chimes.

I think it's a timely topic and didn't notice and don't care that it's "resurrected."  I don't remember posting on it before, so I had a chance to do that today.

Unless they are unpleasant threads...and with the good work of the mods currently, they are not...I see no reason why they can't be "resurrected" for new posters or old posters who missed them earlier to post on.

Posters can discuss any current events here that are not political or religious. The key word here is discuss...not argue, squabble, belittle those that hold an opposing opinion, etc, etc, etc.

Maybe there are posters who aren't capable of that, or perhaps they just don't see any point in having a conversation if they have to be nice.
