I keep hearing women being called "cat". Is that short for Catrina? Maybe something else?

I hear 'cat' a lot, too. The Kat I know is really name Kathy. So I guess they call her Kat for short. I like the nickname.

One of my two brothers calls me "Cat." I don't know if it's a shortening of my name, or a hint to my personality.

My dh has a strange sense of humor. ${#emotions_dlg.wub}$ He always nicknames people. He works mostly with women and one day he was referring to someone by "Shoe". I finally said, who is Shoe? He said, it's "Lacey". Do you get his warped sense of humor? Luv him, tho.
