Well..this is odd, and hasn't happened to me, yet. I'd sure like to see them fix this issue that can affect so many of us....rather than do less important things, like bringing back the ignore button.
I've only had it happen twice since the "new" forum has been here.

I've been unable to post most of today. Thanks, @Annabellethecat66 for clueing me in as to what to do. I almost did that earlier but I was afraid I'd loose my post count even signing in with my same Nick as you did. I had talked to customer service on the phone after getting no response from that live chat. Live chat was dead, lol. Customer service told me to just wait and try later. That didn't help.

I tried twice to sign in but it kept wanting a new name and just posted here to see which name stuck, but the first time I just typed "I have one" out of irritation. I hate QVC's website sometimes...I used to use "nunyabisnis".

Oh my gosh, the same thing happened to me tonight. I am Lindsay's Grandma and I couldn't sign in, it kept asking for a nickname. Out of desperation I put in Glam Nan thinking they would know who I am. Well now I am GlamNan and I will have to call customer service to ask how I get my original name back. I have had it since 2007 and that is how I am recognized. What a nuisance!!!

It kept asking me for a nickname, I just typed in the name I use here and it let me in.
If it didn't I was going to try all the usual fixes because I really didn't want to change my name!

Thank you, @Moonchilde. After using your tips, I was finally able to sign back in. I put in the nickname I have, but what a pain in the neck.
all the prompts lead one to believe they must set up a new nickname & thanks to you, now I know it's not true. I can still be 3cupcakes! Yay!

more than one glitch in the system.
They sure did! I had to phone in an order (after waiting on hold about 5 minutes) because the online ordering was really messed up!
The rep said they were swamped because of web site problems!

I had to get a new nickname too. I was wilma - now I am Wilma7500. I tried several times before giving up and changing my nick a bit.
