@tedEbear I tried that several times and it did not work, I'll try to change it back if I can.

It kept coming up for me too.  So I contacted the people who answer (supposedly) your questions you have regarding the forum.

I typed in my question as to why it kept asking for my nickname.  I was told by someone named Africa that he/she didn't know why it kept asking me that.  I said I wasn't changing my name.

so I got out of the site and when it asked again for my nickname I typed in Annabellethecat (which it is) and everything went through.

I don't know what is going on and neither does QVC.  Go back and type in your old nickname.

The same thing happened to me too.

The second try got me in with my own screen name.

The site was having issues earlier today with their dot com orders.  It sounde like there's

more than one glitch in the system.

It happened just a few minutes ago with me, so I just changed from Alleycatnumber1 to secbama. CS could not tell me the problem. Oh well.

It does this all the time. When it asks for your nickname, it's not necessarily saying it doesn't recognize you and you *have* to put in a new nickname or sign on as a new user. Just put your usual nickname in and chances are it will accept that and you're in.

Other times it will not recognize you and it would appear that you do need to great a new user ID. Unless you just can't stand it if you can't post right that second, don't do anything. WAIT 15 minutes. 30 minutes. Once I waited 2 hrs. But I could then sign in just fine.

It all depends on how attached you are to your nickname.

Well..this is odd, and hasn't happened to me, yet.  I'd sure like to see them fix this issue that can affect so many of us....rather than do less important things, like bringing back the ignore button.

To all of the posters who had problems today, as I did, many times.

I did try to post, later... finally, but it had taken one hour +. I had the same problems last evening for one post to one friend and the message half written "BLEW OFF".

Same thing!

I _KNEW_ this was not with my computer, totally, or the newer one from 2015.

I was told with some RED alert that did not apply to me, so I closed off.

I was told to enter my email address 4 times.

I was told to sign in over 7 times. If I say "I" one more time you will come to think 'I' am someone else.

I have seen a slight improvement from one hour ago. There can not be that many posters, here having problems with [all] separate Internet services. I have seen this happen at least FIVE times from last June through today.

When in doubt and this happens again, for me, I shut it off. Also, jumping, switching to another forum, going into shopping or post being blank.

I've had that problem also, but usually if I close out the site and then reopen. Then the problem resolves.  This is happening more and more - hope they correct it soon.
