I've been very happy getting the neighborhood info via Nextdoor (we have around 2,000 residents in our subdivision). Yes, some of it is silly, but I've found a house cleaner, someone to clean and detail one of our cars, interior house painter, and a person to power wash our patio bricks. Plus all of the info on safety and security issues in our neighborhood and those around us. No personal info shows up on anything a person posts....just the neighborhood and a first name or nickname that you choose. It's a great service! it's like the Q forum - read what you want, and pass on what's not relevant to you.

When u start reading people's posts --- u can click on the down arrow on the top right of their name(s) to hide the post. There are many posts that I have no interest in and I just delete.
