Yes, I have a friend whose daughter is Toni Lynn. Anthony is the father and Lynn (Evelyn) is the mother. Okay, it's not Anthony-Evelyn, but it's still the father's name and mother's name combined. I think the reason why it doesn't seem strange is Toni is often a shortened version of Antoinette which is a female name. The example you gave is different, but hey, I'm sure we could all write about very strange names we've heard. How about Immaculada Concepcion (Immaculate Conception) and they called her Connie.

Nothing would surprise me anymore. Just wait until that person has to fill in all of those names in the few amount of squares (or space) provided on forms (especially with paper becoming scares (no paper bills, etc).
I'm already terrible about remembering names. Faces, that's easy, but names, forget it!
All of those names will be shortened you can bet on that.

@Imaoldhippie Yes,it is scary. My sister just retired after 30 yrs. of dealing with that and so much worse. She loved the kids but some, not all, of the parents were nightmares.
When she first started the agency took a baby that was in the hospital because the parents severely injuried it. Little thing had no one so my sister would go to the hospital after work and sit with her. She did it for days until she was put in foster care.

Wow. That’s different. Never met anyone with a moniker like that.

I knew an Intelligent and Beautiful. They were neither.

My first name is the female version of my dad's name, and I have my mother's middle name as my middle name.
For example, Christina Louise Jones (not my real name of course).

Yes I see it way too much to suit me. Hyphenated names are something I have never liked, don't see the purpose for most of them. Get married? Keep whichever name you wish, but 2 or 3? Why? And then the hyphenated personal descriptions of you? Ridiculous to this, maybe too old, man!

My sister asked what she meant by the hospital named her and she answered that was what was on her bracelet. The baby had female on her hospital wrist band.
I thought she was kidding until she swore on Dad's grave. I have often wondered how that child was making out with that start.
That is a very old, urban legend story.

I've seen it done that way. Actually, I am seeing triple hyphenated names now. Susan Jones-Smith gets married and becomes Susan Jones-Smith-Brown. I don't even want to think what they do with their children's names.
