To be honest, I've never understood January 1 Resolutions.

 

Winter is a time for reflection, hunkering down, gathering our thoughts & resources to prepare us when we get out of this season.  The arbitrary New Year date of 1/1 to me is contrary to all of that, to mother nature.

 

I act on plans and any changes I've considered during the winter starting the first day of Spring.  

 

Spring is rejuvenating and fruitful.  I feel more positive about them all around.
