Hey, a whole year slipped past us since we last chatted - amazing how that happens. I trust everyone had a safe and sane new Year's Eve. I sure did and the neighborhood cooperated. It was unbelievably quiet - not one firecracker or noise or anything. Two families I know of were away last night and that was part of the good news as one of them too often celebrates in the middle of the night for most any reason. LOL.

Fed the Pit Bull young lady next door again today - it appears, however, her family may have come back home late afternoon as I see their car there but no sign of life such as lights or anything else. Weird.

I have lots of extra black eyed peas and collards - plus some cornbread. As usual I cooked way too much - good thing you can easily freeze those peas but knowing me I will make sure all the greens are eaten up in no time. But in the meantime, please help yourselves!!!!
