Every time we have a malfunction that sets our alarm system off during the night, all 4 of us come out of our bedrooms with our guns and proceed to check our assigned entry areas.   The person who silences the alarm answers the call from the alarm company, and by then we have checked our basement, and garage.   The usual problem is a bad window sensor or glass breakage sensor.  

 

Anyone stupid enough to try to break in on us would be facing their worst nightmare.  Our property is posted with very visible Private Property and No Trespassing signs; so if we shoot, we aim to kill.
