Yeah, I am not quite sure what all of my car does yet - need to schedule a "Tech Tutorial" appt where one of the IT guys spends 30-45 mins with you going over everything your car will do.

Thank you so very much for bringing this to my attention. I did find the CRV owners forum and read exactily what you are explaining.
That's the very last thing I want to do is get a new car and have to check my oil everytime I get gas...no thank you!

I've driven Jeeps for 20 years. Last year I looked for a new car, and of course I started my search with Jeep. Well, I didn't buy one. I bought a Nissan Rogue. It was between that and a Subaru, and I just couldn't get all the features for my price point in the Subaru. So I got rid of my Jeep and while at first I felt sad I quickly got over it!

@DominosmomLove my new Subaru Forester! I'd been driving Toyotas very successfully for over 30 years, but when my old Avalon needed a second expensive repair, I decided to shop for something smaller. I don't have all that many miles yet, but so far I'm pleased with the car and with Subaru's website and my local service people. What else do I need!

I've had Jeep Grand Cherokees for 31yrs - bought my first one that was a year-old used model and kept it for 13yrs. Bought the second one new, and though it was running perfectly, was retiring to take care of my mother so traded it in and got my thrid one in 2005.
So, based on history, I'd definitely recommend a Jeep!![]()

Forgot to mention, @Mistreatedbycs, I, too, always coveted a Mustang! But, for around here - MA - just not practical in the wintertime as four-wheel drive is required, imho.

My DH retired from a company that is a GM supplier so he gets a big discount on GM cars. Thus we only buy GM cars, but we do really like GM.Our last 3 have been Buick Enclave - their biggest SUV. DH loves it , I love it except it's as big as a suburban so it's hard to park in places where the lanes are narrow. We have been talking about what we'll buy next. Since we no longer snowbird I don't think we need anything so large as we have now. I'd like to go down one size but still get a Buick SUV.

We just bought a Honda HRV last year in the color mulberry. We love it. Not as big as a SUV but bigger then the Civic we traded in. It is based on the Fit design so we call it the Honda Fit on steroids.
A SUV is just too big for me to drive, don't like huge cars but the Civic was just getting too hard to get out of.
