Today Carolyn was speaking with Renee Greenstein about a movie on Netflix. Did anybody catch the name of the movie or series?

Was the movie about women in control?  Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct?  Glen Close in Fatal Attraction?   Smiley Happy

@Blackcatmom I was watching Carolyn with Renee today. They were talking about Bridgerton.  It is a Romantic drama serie based on Julia Quinn's novel set in 1800s in London.

I found it!  It's called Brigerton.

I tried really hard to get into that series as I know a lot of people that love it.  Just not my cup of tea.

I am looking for another series to throw myself into.  I am watching the crown, in bits and pieces as my daughter and I are watching it and since she works she doesn't have the time that I do so I just watch it at her pace then we discuss each episode as we watch it.

Absolutely loved Bridgerton.  I can't wait for the next season.

I may be the odd one, but I prefer  movies over series. Lately I have less patience to keep up with 12 episodes of a story. I'd rather watch a 90 minute to 2 hr. movie that has an end and be done.

Oh my gosh, Bridgerton.  I've already watched the series 5 times.  I enjoyed it so much.....obviously.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@gidgetgh

I thought I was the only one who watched it more than once.

@Shanus , at least with Bridgerton it appears each season is a different book.  So we pretty much got an ending to the story being told in season 1,  about one of the Bridgerton kids, and then the next book will be about a different one.  And it's only eight episodes as I recall.  So if you like that type of movie, you may want to give it a try.
