We depend on technology too much in my opinion.  Yes I am old school and I remember how simple things used to be.I went to an appointment a few days and had to use my phone to check in, same at DMV.  I do not have my phone all the time but fortunately I had it with me and I was very nice and polite but in my head I was thinking what a hassle. Also a lot of things are geared towards having an Iphone which I do not own and have no interest in getting one.
