I signed on earlier today and noticed several posters that I have not seen in a few days, but whom I enjoy reading.😊

Wouldn't it be nice if we could meet up and exchange some of our INTERESTING Forum stories?😁

I agree @SandySparkles . The nature of an online forum, however, is that your real-life identity isn't included. After reading posts and beginning to feel like you know people (sort of), one can't help but to automatically envision what they think others must look like (or at least my mind does that). It's very silly, of course, but I've often chuckled at the idea that I'm probably dead wrong about everything! Haha.  Anybody else do that? (It's not a very conscious, intentional thing....the mind just forms an impression).

@SandySparkles  Years ago a group of posters in Michigan met several times for lunch.  I think most do not post here anymore.

There may be others who met but didn't talk about the meeting.

Meeting in person would have to depend upon proximity.

With pm's on other sites and offline communications I am thinking that is enough for most people.

@SandySparkles Do you work for the QVC public relations team, or you a board moderator?  You seem to be in charge of welcoming and greeting and thinking up new topics--so I just thought I'd ask.

Sometimes moderators participate on boards and some don't.  But if they do it is nice for those on the board to know.

@Goldengate8361 Welcome!🥰 That is why it would be nice to meet if possible.❤  It takes away the guesswork.😁 I live in a Seattle suburb, and would LOVE❤ to meet any poster who lives in the area, at one of Seattle's MANY coffee houses, and swap stories about our purchases, other posters, etc...😁

THANK you SO much for caring to share today!🤗

@Cakers3 Welcome!🥰 I do not use with other sites, so I cannot dm. If someone lives in the area, and tells me of a site they use, I would use it to communicate with them.😊

I signed up with a Pro Forum several months past in search of my old forum friend, but could not get the hang of it, so I did not use it.😊

THANK you SO much for caring to share!🤗

@Sooner WELCOME!🥰 I appreciate your perspective!❤ I can ASSURE you I do NOT work for The Q; though it might be fun!😁 If I was a moderator, I would shut down threads in violation of standards MUCH faster than they do!😄 I have great respect for their job, but I do not have the patience to govern adults.😊

I welcome EVERYONE who visits my threads!❤  Thinking up new topics is NOT exclusive to me, as many posters  DAILY introduce far more than I do. I have seen some  regularly introduce three or MORE threads in a day under their main nic, or several others they have.🤔

THANK you SO much for caring to share!🤗

@SandySparkles   I suspected the same as Sooner.  Are you a Q volunteer then?

As for forum meet ups, I have been to plenty during AOL's v3.0-3.4 haydays.  Those who attended wore name tags w/our addy.  You did not have to reveal your real name unless you wanted to.

@SandySparkles - I appreciate your postings & comments. You seem to be a very kind, upbeat & caring person. Keep up the good work! Maybe you should work for QVC? I’d love to meet you but I’m on the east coast. I always remember your kind posts to the lady who lived with her daughter & sil who seemed very troubled.

@Mz iMac Welcome!🥰 You flatter me!😂😂 I would not even VOLUNTEER for The Q! I just do not have the wherewithall!😊 Meeting other posters had to have been fun!😁

I just LOVE❤ The Q, and have my own unique style of chat; some enjoy and others do not!😁 I made a conscious decision when I began chatting here to always be kind and thoughtful, or not chat at al!👍 There are days when I do NOT sign on because believe me, I CANNOT guarantee that I will be!😂😂😂

THANK you SO much for caring to share this evening!🤗
