@MacDUFF  Your second to the last photo is on the Foxnews home page. When I saw it, - where Nancy is so young - I thought she looked a lot in that photo like Reagan's first wife, Jane Wyman.  He must have had a physical "type."

Very nice pictures, @MacDUFF.  Thanks for posting. I think her favorite color was red.

I think with many of us, we gave Nancy a bad rap.!  I am a Californian, and hated the moment they came to Sacramento.  From then on she couldn't do anything right, LOL!  But, time passes, and one learns the story behind the story, and the truth about some .  I am sure Nancy was way more humble when it came to her, and just didn't brag about what she did,  She was stylish, beautiful and so gracious as First Lady.  I think she was an asset, especially with Foreign leaders and diplomats.  Looking back you see her legacy, and how much she did. She will be missed

I think the love story between Ronald Reagan and Nancy is legendary.  She was fiercely protective of her husband.  She may have even deflected the bad raps away from Ronald.  After she left the White House, the kindnesses she did in private came to light.  She was a wonderful friend to many. One person after another seems to have a story of Nancy helping them, or sending an encouraging note when needed

She had a long life, and a very full one it seems.  She is with "her Ronnie", and at peace I am sure.

To me she surely is a lesson on judging people by the media!

Reagan Red...

Nancy Reagan, who died Sunday at age 94, loved sequins, fur, and, perhaps most memorably, the color red.

“I always liked red. It’s a picker-upper,” she told W in 2007. “I didn’t give it the name of Reagan Red, but that became its name.”

The woman had to be a pipsqueak!  Look at that waist!!  She never looked skinny, she is just SMALL, lol!  I notice her fashion choices were very classic, and timeless.  All the suits and dresses,( especially the evening gowns) could be worn today with a tweak here and there.if that.
