@Tinkrbl44

TMZ has received another email from the person claiming to know the identities of Nancy Guthrie's kidnappers, and this time he says he has video of the "main guy" and Nancy the day she died.

We have authenticated the new email is from the same person who sent us the previous ones. He references an old Bitcoin address, which matches, as does his alias in the email.

@elated

I wonder if the reward would still be paid.

@Tinkrbl44  The person who sent this email only wanted one bitcoin ($60,000) to turn over the phone that has the vital information.  That is a good question if this leads to arrests of the killers. This case has been strange from day 1.

Yeah, it will go down in the murder books.

Why TMZ ? why does the murderer love TMZ so much ?

This person who video tapes their own murder is beyond brain damaged. Enjoys all the attention he's

getting.  Has got some reason to really sock it to

Savannah.

I agree with the post about the video where the family indicated to have Nancy back "to celebrate with her" meant they already knew she was deceased and to be able to have a celebration of life and dignified burial.

Whether this is ever solved or not is just a wondering with no solid backup.

🙏For Nancy's loved ones.

The person who's contacting TMZ is a scammer. TMZ is known to pay five-figure sums for stories, tips and exclusives.

The other day Harvey Levine posted a video complaining that the FBI had ghosted him because he contacted them offering to pay $100K to whoever had sent the ransom note and film a "documentary" about it.

So two days later another note appears in TMZ's email box asking for $60K for a phone allegedly containing video showing Nancy before her death. Can we say AI-generated video?

TMZ is milking this and so is the scammer.

 I agree @AuntMame The whole thing doesn’t line up. The behavior in the notes doesn’t match the behavior of someone who breaks into a house at 2 AM with a mask and a gun. A person violent enough to abduct an elderly woman out of her bed doesn’t suddenly turn poetic and remorseful, talking about her having “perished” and being “buried with nature.” Those two tones come from completely different psychological profiles.

And the timing with TMZ is suspicious. TMZ publicly talks about paying big money, and suddenly someone emails them asking for $60K with a conveniently unverifiable “video.” That’s classic opportunistic scam behavior.

If someone really had a video, they wouldn’t be emailing TMZ for $60K, they would be negotiating for a piece of the $1.2 million reward. The whole thing doesn’t add up.

That host is a lawyer  you would think he would know he could get in trouble playing both sides of the fence

Man, must not have any compassion in him. Playing games and wanting to make money off another family

long suffering agony.  Beyond despicable.

Ashleigh Banfield acted surprised and almost disturbed that the FBI didn’t take him up on his offer. I lost confidence in her too. He’s a lawyer, he should know the FBI would never partner with a media personality in an active kidnapping/homicide investigation. And she’s been a journalist for a very long time, so she should know better as well. Inserting himself into this isn’t about helping, it’s purely for ratings.
