[Puzzle Piece]

Sadly, a ransom note tells the reader that Nancy is dead and she died shortly after she was taken.  

Now, there must be a hunt for her body.  I don't understand what the motive could have been.

Such a weird, sad, mystery why that poor woman was taken and why they just can't find her (though, that does happen more than we ever imagine.) So sad. Our world just keeps getting weirder and meaner everyday...pretty worriesome.

Who knows if the "ransom note" is a hoax, but either way, it sure doesn't seem like this woman is alive.

I've always thought the motive was a display of revenge, and of power to a certain degree, on a public stage.

Very odd.  So the family saw that very soon after the abduction?  So sad.

My theory is she was taken for ransom but with all the publicity and police/FBI presence, things got to hot to try to pursue collecting so they killed her.

Most people are not aware that there are approximately 100,000 abandoned mine shafts in the desert and mountains in Arizona, including many in the Tuscon Mountains.  They make a very convenient way of disposing of a body.

I think poor Nancy may be at the bottom of one of those shafts and will probably never be found.

Interesting the ransom note writer knows the addresses of the Guthries or whoever is getting the notes.  

How are the Guthries receiving these ransom notes?

Do not know how she died but Savannah Guthrie is going to have to live with the fact she exposed her mother ( by putting her on tv)  for a long time. I believe some crazy saw her on tv and knew there was much money behind her. She was an easy target because of her age and she was not well.

And I have to add, with all Savannah Gutherie's money why didn't her mother have the best security system for her house?
