Captain Kangaroo with Mr. Greenjeans , Mr, moose, grandfather clock, bunny rabbit, and Tom Terrific with Mighty Manfred the Wonder dog. Tom's archenemy was Crabby Appleton ( rotten to the core )  I can't believe I remember all of that.

My friends & I would iron our hair with an iron, on an ironing board, to straighten it before curling irons and straighteners were invented, LOL!

 

We also used empty (clean) veggie cans to roll our long hair, for body and smoothing.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
