Nadri used to be on QVC too.  I have a few Nadri bracelets and hoops.

Oh my goodness @brii, I haven't shopped in those stores for so long I didn't realize anyone carried the Judith Jack line anymore.  Even though my pieces are very old I think they still stand up to the test of time . . . at least I hope so . . . Smiley Happy

@momtochloe, I don't know what their online inventory is of Judith Jack.  They do have a good selection in the store.

I bet your pieces are lovely.

@brii I don't know if anyone else would be interested in my pieces as I realize I am older but to me they are beautiful and so well made.

It's still nice to have a piece of jewelry that still has some weight to it . . . Smiley Happy

I liked Joe Esposito also.  I see you found your guy.  This may have been mentioned in another post....I didn't see it but you may have gotten his name mixed up with Jose Hess.  He designed diamonique pieces for QVC.  I have a couple of them.  I believe he had a store in NY or something.

Hi, @GingerPeach, I have one of those Angela Cummings pieces you posted, the "leaf" on the left--I polished it only last week.   Purchased probably 9 years ago on a Big Bonanza Silver Day.

I still wear it when I wear silver; I think it's an enhancer rather than just a pendant.  It was not expensive and is very pretty on.  I have always gotten quite a bit of use out of enhancers.

The vendors are smaller in number now but gold is making a small and modest come-back on the Q and I couldn't be happier.  I am looking forward to the Gold Rush later this month.  The inventory isn't where it was before the last recession, when everything was new and the presentations ran 24 hours, but it is much improved in the last two years. I resumed buying a few pieces on the Gold Rushes about two years ago and have been happy with the quality of the pieces I've received.

The jewelry selection years ago on the Q was outstanding and their prices were great.  I miss watching those shows.

@deepwaterdotter  I have that Esposito snap in necklace too, as well as many of his other pieces.  I even have a converter snap thingy to make other necklaces accommodate the snap-in enhancers.  Boy, those were the good old days.

This thread has commenced a discussion explaining why Q is so boring these days.  We used to have great variety - Tacori, Joe E. , Kirk's Folly, Hidalgo and Hess (although these two came much later), Lee Sands was the first vendor and has almost been phased out, Judith Jack as you say, except she got out of the business so that was understandable, etc.  There used to be an Israeli woman - I think she was on Q and later on Value Vision - long before Or Paz and Adi Paz and Hagit Gorali (whom we rarely see any more too) who came with electroplate gold jewelry with very imaginative, edgy designs.  She was great (her edgy designs would go great with LOGO hehehe).

Judith Jack has gotten very, very expensive for silver and marcasite pieces.

Yep, this is why Q is so boring now rotating the same few brands and getting rid of people we like.  I hope they don't get rid of Bob Mackie.  I don't like most of his clothes any more (although I used to buy quite a few) but I sure like Bob and do listen to his shows if I'm home.  In fact, I just bought his LTS blouse today but it's been a long time since I bought a piece of his before today.

@brii  Both of those stores carry Nadri too, and you can get great deals on sales.

Hi @Burnsite

I'm so glad you responded.  I suppose I could have asked this question generally, but it's especially valuable to hear from someone who owns a piece that you yourself might really like.

My question has to do with the enhancer.  I have always been leery of silver enhancers since it was my understanding that silver, being a softer metal, might eventually lose some of its ability to close properly and therefore the enhancer might fall off.

It seems, since you've had this piece for such a long time, that I might be mistaken about that.   Would you tell me not to worry?

Judith Jack is selling at Nordstrom for high dollar. You are fortunate to have purchased your pieces while she was on QVC.  Hold on to them.

@Bird mama - Those two pieces you have are beautiful!  Joe was always such a soft-spoken man and a pleasure to watch.  I guess he wouldn't fit in now with the hyper presentations.

Qvc UK has some beautiful diamonique pieces. I don't know why they can't bring them here. Tova has some great Art Deco pieces that I would purchase in a heartbeat.
