Were you asked to sign in with an edited nickname today? I wonder why. Does that mean I can post the question again ....What does your new nickname mean? LOL.

The only thing I ever have to enter to sign in is my password.  The first box with my as my  nic or maybe it is my email address is already loaded.  It has been this way for years that I will have to look next time I sign in what is in the first box.  See it daily but do not see it, just so automatic.

I was not. This happens every few months and I have no idea why it happens or why it happens to some people and not others.

Shanus, try calling cust service for the board and see if they can change it back for you. That happened to me last year and they fixed it for me.

Shanus--I didn't have any trouble signing in today.  Must've just been a glitch for you.

          @Shanus,  As @ChynnaBlue said it's a glitch that shows up for some people now and then.   I didn't encounter it today, but when I've seen that prompt in the past I just cleared the browser cookies/cache/data, quit the browser and relaunched it, and then signed in with no problem.

          If you want to change your nickname back to the original one, these are the steps:

1 -- Go into "My Account" (your general QVC shopping account).

2 -- Choose  "My Nickname" (it's under "Personal Information").

3 -- You'll see your current nickname and a box to enter a new one.

4 -- Enter another name you'd prefer to have.

5 -- Click "Continue."

6 -- If it accepts the change, then log out.  (There is a possibility that you might get a message telling you the name has previously been used...  even though you're the one who used it.  If so, you won't be able to select that name again.)

7 -- Then log back into the Community and the change will take effect.

(A nickname change won't take effect until you log out and then back in).
