I'm with the OP. I like my paper (hard copy) statements in the mail. Old school or not. I don't have a computer, and an iPad is not the way to peruse your monthly bill. I understand they want their customers to go paperless, but I don't care for the fee either. Using another card? Then there is no more EZ pays, which helps A LOT.

@Effie54, you don't need to use the Q card to use Easy Pay. The only difference is that sometimes the Q card offers an additional month, but any card is fine.

@Etoile308  What?! OMG - all this time I didn't realize that I could use my M/C and still get EZ pays! Holy moly! Thank you for letting me know. That's a bit help!

I would hever deal with any card that uses Synchrony Bank. Had one bad experience with them and never again. Not the most trustworthy company to do business with. Good idea to check and see who administers any credit card you are thinking of getting.

No paper statements for me either.  I do all of my banking and therefore bill paying on my iPad.

Someone upthread said she wouldn't use her iPad for that and I wouldn't use anything else.  Remembers all of my user names / passwords and much faster with apps than websites.

It may not be for everyone but it's going to continue in that direction.  Too much paper, ink and postage wasted with mailed statements.

Don't see it as a penalty, rather a charge for your preference of receiving a paper statement.  That is no longer considered a cost of doing business.  Everything is going paperless.  And as for using an iPad to review a statement. I have filed my taxes (federal and state) on my phone.  Granted it was a simple filing but far more than reviewing  a credit card statement.

I found out about this yesterday so I called customer service and the nice assiciate chsnged all my easy pays to a different card for me.  I won't get the special deals anymore but that will stop mthe from buying too much.....

The customer service rep said if they start dealing with a different bank they might send out letters to customers.

Guess they have been getting lot of calls with people changing their accounts.

I am  not stopping shopping at QVC I just changed all my payments to a different card that does not charge for a statement.  I will loose some of the perks, but then I probably will buy less....

I had a bsnk at one time that was going to charge me for a paper statement and the teller told me that she would tell them that I had a sight problem so they would still send me a paper statement at no charge.  I don't have a sight problem, but she felt it was not fair to charge a fee so she told all her regular customers to do this.  I always got a paper statement in the mail after that with no fee..

I haven't received the letter for QVC yet, but have for HSN and TJM.    Probably others to follow.  Somehow this just ticks me off.
