I use my VISA unless HSN and SHQ send me coupons valid only with their card, then I use that. I dont shop Q any longer.  I always pay in full, get my statements online, pay online and dont use flex pays.

Oh Please, all these people acting so surprised and offended.   It's not like the Q card is the first to put this in place.  In fact, I'm surprised they have been sending paper statements for free all of this time, most do not.

I'm with the OP. I like my paper (hard copy) statements in the mail. Old school or not. I don't have a computer, and an iPad is not the way to peruse your monthly bill. I understand they want their customers to go paperless, but I don't care for the fee either. Using another card? Then there is no more EZ pays, which helps A LOT.

@Effie54, you don't need to use the Q card to use Easy Pay. The only difference is that sometimes the Q card offers an additional month, but any card is fine.

Paperless is fine with me.  Haven't had a paper bill via snail mail in years.  You can always pull over a copy of the bill to save.  The only paper one I get is for property tax, no idea why they enter the electronic age.

I don't use a Q card either.  I only ever use the card associated with my checking account.  Zero interest rate and easy pays are always offered anyways...maybe not five.😃

@fritzie 309  And don't forget the 34% interest rate!

It seems to me the cost mailing a statement and postage to customer is a cost of doing business.

All of our bills still come hardcopy.  If anything would happen to me my husband would be completely lost.  I've tried to involve him in paying the bills but he just doesn't want anything to do with it.

That interest fee is only applicable if you don't pay your statement balance. Interest rates are high on all credit cards.

I have always paid online. I don't need or want paper statements. If I need them I can print them.

One of my cards is paperless billing .... I just walk down the block to the ATM and transfer the amount from my savings account.  I go the the ATM anyway to get cash ... so it's not an issue.

My other card - paper bill and I write a check.  Not an issue either.
