After I read how they are built and how they operate and how poor the visibility is I wonder more drivers aren't killed in crashes with them!

I don't follow racing and know nothing about it, but I do know that TS is a very generous and philanthropic man. He has a foundation that issues grants every year. Our tiny greyhound rescue group has been fortunate enough to receive money from the foundation to help pay for greys who were injured while racing or training. In fact, I have a Tony Stewart dog. Ocho suffered a very bad break while racing, and Tony's foundation paid for his repair. Otherwise,Ocho may have been put down. Now he's happy and healthy and snoozing on his dog bed as I write.
