Oh how I love an afternoon nap!!! In cold weather, I'm under my electric blanket & other times any blanket will do. I'm not talking about an accidental dozing off while watching tv or reading...a planned, "take the phone off the hook" nap.

I wake up at 5:30AM-6AM & in my studio by 6:30. By 2:30, I'm yawning on most days. The best nap is when it's raining outside & I open the window so I can hear it hitting against the roof. Ahhhh.

Do you love a good afternoon nap?

I have never been able to nap. My husband does everyday. I envy people that can.  It must feel so nice

Oh HECK yes, I have insomnia so it is almost a requirement in my life, there are times when I just get so tired I can hardly hold my head up, so I take my nap nearly every day, even 1/2 hour nap can make a world of difference!

Nope. Never take a nap.  I am up at 3AM and go to bed about 8 PM.

I have always loved and do appreciate an afternoon nap, especially on a dreary day, while raining or watching the snow fall, ahhh...it is a precious gift!  I forgot to mention that preferably, I love to have my baby girl "Pearl" 😺 jump onto the couch and settle herself down on the blanket and my belly!

Re: NAP TIME IS A PRECIOUS GIFT

I'm up with the birds as well; decades of rise and shine at 5am-ugh. I used to have daydreams about taking a nap. Then, I retired and could.

Now, an afternoon nap is such a pleasure; you have it down to s science. Thanks for sharing such a simple but oft overlooked pleasure in life.

Re: NAP TIME IS A PRECIOUS GIFT

I get up seven days a week at 3:00 and got to bed by 9:15.  I do not have to set an alarm just wake up every morning at that time give or take a minute or two.  Can only nap on Sat. and Sun. afternoon due to working but oh how wonderful they are.  I love being a morning person and I love to nap.

Yes, especially on a cold day with an electric blanket.

I don't think I'll have that opportunity again until December.
