@drizzellla  Thats funny! Your collie was a lovely dog I bet

He was a rescue. We got him when he was about 6 years old. He had fleas and was allergic to them. He lost much of his undercoat because he scratched and bite at them so much. He also had Lyme's disease. An ear infection and bad teeth and worn down jaw from trying to eat his way out of his cage.

But he was such a sweet heart. Every morning he patrolled the house. He would open the bedroom door and do a head count and check up on everyone. And throughout the day he would patrol the house and do the head count. And if we walked outside without him, he would stick his nose out the screen door to check up on us.

He loved the ladies. I think his favorite thing was going to the groomer and having the groomer fuss over him. He knew he was looking good when he walked out of there. You could tell by his prance.

Couldn't ask for a better companion.

I have 3 GS  under 7 yrs old. They never bark unless stranger danger. They are very well behaved and they never leave our home. When I go away, their is someone who lives here in the back, But I don't believe in any animal sleeping with me......in fact ,they have never been upstairs. I don't have a cat......the thought of him/her jumping on the

counter in the kitchen or being around uncooked/cooked food, makes me sick. They scratch at their litter boxes !!

Not my neighbor.  Bassets, one old and female, one young and male.

Then she "sics" them on one another and I find it terribly sad.

Now, my black GSD (part lab) is gentlemanly.  He ust walks away while they bark and bay.
