I ordered six bottles of Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee from Amazon. I did this because cold brew is supposed to be easier on the stomach. Well, it is much easier on the stomach than the drip coffee and instant coffee I use. BUT, and this is a big but, this coffee does not wake me up and it is not decaf. Strangest thing. It's supposed to have 175ml of caffeine per 11 oz. bottle.

@Mindy D It is my understanding the cold brew process results in less acid and less caffeine as well.

Your body was designed to wake up on it's own.

I like my coffee strong and hot even in the Florida temps. I didn't know people had stomach issues with coffee though. Sorry to hear.

@Xivambala my husband and I can't drink certain brands of coffee unless we want to die from heartburn for the rest of the day!

I got a big bottle of that stuff from Walmart this week. Whoa, it is strong so I added about 1/3 almond milk. I haven't had any coffee for about 2 years but wanted some iced. Once I got it fixed up it was good.

My entire adult life I relished my morning coffee. It was my reward for getting out of bed. In the past few years I started having to cut back to 2 cups then 1 cup and finally last fall stop drinking it altogether. My acid reflux got out of control and my doctor said I had discontinue it.
I absolutely will have a pumpkin spice latte when they come back this year. I will certainly pay the price, but it will be worth it.

I saw something called Prelief recommended in another thread for acid reflux related to coffee, @On It.

@tansy Thank you. I will check it out.

Please do check out the Prelief. Another poster, Trinity11, told me about it. It has allowed me to enjoy a mug of coffee in the morning with no reflux. I limit my coffee to just one mug, but I am so happy to be able to have that!
