Today is my wedding anniversary.  My husband gives me a card every year and usually writes the same thing in it.  I never mentioned it to him before this year.  So, this year he really put some time and thought into it.  What he wrote is "totally him."  For insight, my husband is such a kid at heart.  Likes Star Wars, Harry Potter, Avengers, Disney (we got married at Disney) and would be the first to admit he's a nerd.  But, he's my nerd and I love him.  I just want to share what he wrote.  It brought such a smile to my face:

I love you as much as:

Harry loves his Nimbus 2000

Hermione loves getting all A's

Ron loves Hermione

I need you as much as:

Thor needs his hammer

Captain America needs his shield

Iron Man needs her armour

You make me as happy as:
Han Solo finding the millenium falcom

Luke getting off Tatoonie

Vader finding his son

What a thoughtful message he wrote, and obviously straight from his heart and fitting for his personality!

You got a good one!

Since I'm completely clueless about all those references, I assume they're good!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary!! I love when the husbands take the time to do more than just say I love you and sign it. He really wrote something that brings a smile to your face. Love it!

We will be married 55 years tomorrow. We are just spending a relaxing day home as we are retired and enjoy being homebodies. Looks like we both have a special man in our lives.
Enjoy your day!
