Mike Lindell to be on TV a show

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell will be featured in the ninth episode of a new A&E television series called 'Addiction Unplugged," which will premier Aug. 24 at 1 p.m.

The "Addiction Unplugged" episode Lindell will display how he emerged from extreme money issues and chronic drug addiction to create fame and fortune from his idea for a pillow, according to the show's website, which says, “Not only did Lindell become a massive American success story, a large portion of his 1,600 employees are addicts in recovery. We spent time with a few of them and extracted heartfelt stories of how their lives have been changed through the employment, support and guidance of Mike, his company and his various foundations that support people suffering from addiction and drug dependence.”

Mike will launch online help for addicts.

The soon-to-be-launched Lindell Recovery Network will be available nationwide. The addict will submit their age, what they’re addicted to, and what they didn’t like about the drug, Lindell said. Then they'll be matched with a mentor around their age who has been through the drug addiction and recovery process.

“I’ve vetted over 3,500 treatment centers in this country, all of which are faith-based,” Lindell said.

He also said he’s put millions of his own dollars into the website, which will focus on cyclical healing with mentors who have experienced addiction instead of, as Lindell put it, “big college professors who learned how to tell somebody they’re an addict.” Outside donors are also helping foot the cost of the program, Lindell said.

He gives me the creeps.

He reminds me of Thomas Kincade who conned people.

I have no idea what the negative comments are about, but doesn't make any difference to me. If I didn't make purchases based on someone's political or religious views, I would be very limited indeed. I have used these pillows for 6 years and they perform exactly as advertised. For me, the great advantage is MyPillow can be washed and tumble dried, so makes very quick work of it, and as often as you want. I feel much better sleeping on a clean pillow. I bring the travel pillows where ever I go. Who knows what the hotel pillows have been through and how they are cleaned. I wash my travel pillows as soon as I return home.

I really like the ones I have.  Altough I got a few when they first came out as well as many other styles over the years, they are still holding up well after regular washing but eventually I will probably have to buy new ones so sure there are still those who want to buy them even if they already have them.  In spite of what some think, he manufactures in the USA and built his business from nothing and that is commendable!!  I don't have to like all his personal beliefs and he never tries to force his beliefs on anyone.

Like some other companies, he uses profits to promote his personal beliefs. I will not help him with that.

I own 4 of his pillows and I love them.  I can wash them in the machine and they are so fluffy and comfortable.  I wish him much success!

My Pillow recently lost its BBB accreditation due to its pricing practices.

Anyone who donates to anything is using his profits to promote his personal beliefs. That's how it works! No one donates to the opposing view.

@jazzed, he has every right to give his money to promote his personal beliefs, and we who feel strongly different from him have every right to choose not to buy.

Of course you do.
