@OneHappyHiker

Thank you for your kind words and I also love the simple font that the tattoo artist chose for Ethan's name. It's one of the first things I noticed.

To the memories of those you loved, those that impacted your life & impacted the lives of those around you,  that you love as well.

I like it.  It's lovely way to honor his best friend and that's helping your grandson heal.

Death is devastating for those left behind. I am so sorry for the loss of your son @Kachina624. The loss of a child is unthinkable.

The loss of this precious young life by suicide leaves a void that never goes away @monicakm . I am so happy your grandchildren are in counselling. It will help them.

The tattoo is amazing, and what a special tribute to his best friend.

I may be in the minority here, but @monicakm, I find this way too personal to be shared on an Internet chat board.

Does your grandson know that you've posted something so private about him?

I can't imagine he'd approve.

I think monicakm, you're doing fine. It's none of your grandson't business what you post about him and you don't need his permission...especially since you didn't post anything that would identify him.

@sabatini

It's fine to be in the minority.  I'm firmly planted there in most of my thinking.  He wouldn't care.  He has grown up in a world where nearly everything is shared in social media.

Thank you @GoneButNotForgotten

I might have to disagree about it being none of his business what I post about him online.  I wouldn't dare post anything I'm not positive about.  I know how long he waited to get this tattoo artist, how proud of it he is and how much he loved and misses Ethan.  We all do!  He wouldn't care that I posted it but I understand that not everyone is as comfortable with it especially those that didn't grow up with social media.  I didn't grow up with it but I'm tech forward (g)
