Thanks so much for your positive thoughts, we are fine, I posted above that my car was fixed, radiator replaced, costs of $1,871, got it back from the shop today.  It's a 2013 Equinox, bought it new and this was the first major repair which is pretty good for the age of it.

I'm glad you're both okay. That can be scary. This is an older model of this product but it's the one my husband has. You can buy newer ones that might be a little better. It's an on-board diagnostic reader and they do work.

Just type in OBD on Amazon.
